Web Browser Information Use
Accelerated Academics may use data your web browser passes on, such as your IP address, browser name and version, computer operating system, resources you are accessing and last resource visited. These items are recorded in the server’s log file, as is common practice with all websites. We run reports on these logs to better understand what our customers want and need from a technological perspective.
Data Collection; Use and Disclosure
Accelerated Academics’ websites contain areas that collect personally identifiable information our users supplied voluntarily in connection with requests for information about our school, program offerings, and services provided. Persons who supply Accelerated Academics with their contact information online may receive direct mail, email, or telephone contact from us with information regarding special promotions, new product releases, upcoming events, and services that may be of interest to our customers. Without authorization from the user, Accelerated Academics and its affiliates do not release, sell, rent or trade personally identifiable information to any third party other than to fulfill requests for goods and services. Users may opt out of receiving future communications; see the Opt-Out section included in this document.
Notwithstanding the above limitations on Accelerated Academics’ use and disclosure of personally identifiable information, in the event Accelerated Academics is ever sold or reorganized, we reserve the right to transfer ownership of user and student data to the acquiring company or other successor. Additionally, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose as required by law any information about you and any of your children who are Accelerated Academics’ students, including voluntary disclosures to law enforcement agencies and government officials, as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate.
Accelerated Academics takes practical measures to protect your personally identifiable information as you transmit data from your computer to our site and to protect such information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Please be advised that no Internet transmission is ever 100% secure or error-free and therefore we cannot ensure that information will never be disclosed as the result of third parties unlawfully intercepting or accessing files, transmissions or private communications. Keep in mind that email sent to or from our Website may not be secure, and we ask that you take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.
Accelerated Academic websites may currently, or in the future, make available chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or newsgroups to users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personally identifiable information.
